This is one example where the advances of technology can really make a difference by saving lives. The product I am referring to is called GlowCap Connect made by a company called Vitality. GlowCap Connect are caps that purportedly fit onto standard prescription bottles and give personal reminders to users so they do not forget to take their medications. The personal reminders are in the form of a flashing light and melodies. There is even an option for a call to your home. Even better there is also an optional social network feature that sends weekly updates to a friend, family member or caregiver.
